Italian Premier Condemns Israel Attacking Gaza Church
(MENAFN) Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Thursday strongly criticized Israel over a fatal assault on a Catholic church located in Gaza.
According to press reports, the offensive resulted in the deaths of two women.
"Israeli raids on Gaza also hit the Holy Family Church. The attacks against the civilian population that Israel has been carrying out for months are unacceptable," Meloni stated in a post on X.
She added that no form of military operation could legitimize the actions taken by Israel.
