Russia claims it has intercepted Ukrainian drones
According to a statement from the Defense Ministry, the attacks occurred between late Wednesday and early Thursday, affecting areas along the border as well as deeper into Russian territory.
The ministry reported that 32 drones were downed over the Kursk and Belgorod regions, with 20 others intercepted over Voronezh. Additional UAVs were reportedly destroyed over the Black Sea (17), Crimea (7), Oryol (6), Krasnodar (5), Tambov (4), Rostov (3), Bryansk (2), and one each over Tula and the Moscow region.
Ukraine has not immediately responded to the claims, and independent verification is challenging due to the ongoing conflict.
