Informing on media and advertising news in Italy
Provided by AGPItalian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said he had formally asked the EU’s foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas to place possible sanctions on Ben-Gvir on the agenda for the upcoming meeting of EU foreign ministers, according to reports.
In a post shared on the social media platform X, Tajani emphasized that the request was linked to what he described as serious concerns over the treatment of the activists.
He stated that the move was in response to “the unacceptable acts committed against the Flotilla, seizing the activists in international waters and subjecting them to harassment and humiliation, in violation of the most basic human rights.”
